Wczoraj TV Polsat przypomniała kultowy dla wielu ludzi /w Brzegu też ;)/ film z Robinem Williamsem pt. "Stowarzysznie Umarłych Poetów". "Carpe Diem !" woła głowny bohater, "Carpe Diem" wołają za nim młodzi uczniowe elitarnej szkoły...
Dziś próbuję przetrzepać internet w poszukiwaniu tłumaczenia sztandarowego wiersza tego filmu, Walta Whitmana "O Captain!" My Captain!". Niestety nie mogę znaleźć, dlatego pozwolę sobie zacytować go w oryginale:
